About RIVF Special Sessions
RIVF Special Sessions are intended to introduce and promote emerging research areas that are not yet well established or sufficiently covered by the main conference tracks, while featuring high-quality papers that would normally appear in the main track. The same evaluation criteria and quality standards apply as for the main conference: papers must adhere to the area of the special session to which they are submitted, and reviewers are experts in that area. Accepted papers are presented at the conference and included in the RIVF 2026 proceedings alongside main-track papers.
Special Sessions at RIVF 2026 focus on topics at the border of computing and communication technologies and other disciplines; advanced or rapidly evolving topics within computing, communications, and data science; specific application areas, including those of particular significance to Vietnam and the wider Asia-Pacific region; and emerging challenges that connect academic research with industrial practice and deployment.
